С једне стране, циклус се сагледава као неодвојиви део њеног песничког идентитета и Храма тишине, којим се песникиња профилише као „чист лиричар“ неосимболистичке и хришћанске оријентације (стожер збирке представљају кључне речи: Реч, Мелодија, тишина, љубав, душа, светлост, Бог). С друге стране, за разлику од осталих циклуса, између којих су тематско-мотивске границе веома флуидне, циклус „Спознања“ јасно се издваја као кохерентна целина мотивисана догађајима из породичне, културне и националне историје везаним за Косово и Метохију, а тиме и за лични и национални идентитет. The research focus of this paper is the cycle of poems “Cognitions” from the col- lection The Temple of Silence (2023) by Marija Jeftimijević Mihailović. On one hand, the cycle is viewed as an inseparable part of her poetic identity and The Temple of Silence, through which the poetess profiles herself as a “pure lyricist” of non-symbolist and Christian orientation (the cornerstone of the collection represent key words: Word, Melody, silence, love, soul, light, God). On the other hand, unlike other cycles where thematic and motivational boundaries are fluid, the cycle “Cognitions” clearly stands out as a coherent whole motivated by events from family, cultural, and national history related to Kosovo and Metohia, and thus to personal and national identity.
