Комплементарном применом метода посматрања и полуструкту- рисаног дубинског интервјуа, прикупљен је материјал на основу кога се износи становиште у тумачењу ових догађаја, искристалисаног на основу испитивања становника села Биче и Грабца у Општини Клина. Најпре се поставља теоријски оквир за разумевање ширег контекста у коме се одвија косовска-српска политика, потом се дефинише сам појам етничког чи- шћења, и на крају, анализирају искази саговорника у контексту политике двадесетпетогодишњег нестајања српског народа. Искази испитаника су идентични: западни део Међународне заједнице у пракси није показао ис- тинску намеру да заустави етничко чишћење Срба, већ је својом благона- клоношћу према косовским Албанцима допринео његовом интензивира- њу. Ово је потврђено и тиме да је и процес повратка и опстанак српског становништва на Косову након 17. марта. Између осталог, то показује и проценат враћеног становништва који је након 25 година мањи од 2%, The paper analyzes the relationship of the “International Community” (mainly KFOR and UNMIK) towards the Serbian community in Kosovo and Metohija during the days of the ethnic cleansing of Serbs on March 17, 2004. Using the method of observation and semi-structured in-depth interview, material was collected on the basis of which I present a point of view in the interpretation of these events, crystallized on the basis of an examination of the inhabitants of the villages of Biče and Grabac in the Municipality of Klina. First, I provide a theo- retical framework for understanding the broader context in which Kosovo-Serb politics takes place, then I define the very concept of ethnic cleansing, and fi- nally analyze the statements of the interlocutors in the context of the policy of the twenty-five-year ethnic cleansing of the Serbian people from the area of Ko- sovo and Metohija. The statements of the interviewees agree on one thing: the western part of the International Community in practice did not show a true intention to make the process of return and survival of the Serbian population in Kosovo a priority in relation to the process of gaining the final independence of Kosovo.
