<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract: In this research, the issue of students' concentration during lectures at the faculties will be actualized. The research is divided into four parts. In the first part, the definition of concentration from the medical and psychological aspects will be discussed, that is, it will be pointed out. The second part will refer to a review of some of
the international research on this topic. In the third part, the results of the research conducted among second-year
students of the Faculty of Law for Economy and Justice in Novi Sad will be presented, and at the end of the paper, concluding considerations will follow. Concentration refers to our ability to consciously direct our thoughts in the desired
direction. Certain international studies have concluded that students can maintain their attention during lectures for 15-
20 minutes, and that they are not concentrated during the rest of the lecture. The duration of a classic lecture is about 40 minutes, which raises the question of the efficiency of the entire teaching process. The goal of this monitoring is to
actualize this issue, not with the idea of being the beginning of change, but raising awareness about the effectiveness of
education. Bearing in mind the high degree of advancement of the young generations, who are molded in the age-old methods of imparting knowledge, certain changes are necessary.</dc:description>
