The military neutrality of the Republic of Serbia is being seriously tested amid the geopo-litical changes that have occurred following Russia&apos;s special military operation in Ukraine. By addressing current global and regional developments, this research will attempt to prove the justification of such a policy and the positions expressed in the National Security Strategy. The paper primarily deals with the analysis and synthesis of current events in international relations and their impact on the position of the Republic of Serbia, through the prism of strategic orientations and military neutrality. At the same time, all relevant scientific sources and knowledge on this complex issue are studied, including a survey conducted among Serbian citizens on the sustainability of military neutrality. </dc:description>
