  <dc:description xml:lang="srp">Apstrakt: Proces pristupanja Srbije Evropskoj uniji dugotrajan je proces koji obuhvata korenite reforme u nekoliko ključnih oblasti. Jedna od oblasti u kojoj je saradnja i usklađivanja propisa i standarda sa propisima i standardima Evropske
unije veoma važna za proces pristupanja Srbije Evropskoj uniji je oblast unutrašnjih
poslova. Stoga, jedan od osnovnih budućih zadataka Ministarstva unutrašnjih
poslova Republike Srbije, kao ključnog ministarstva u ovoj oblasti, je da svoje
funkcionisanje i rad uskladi sa propisima Evropske unije, s obzirom na činjenicu
da je Evropski savet tek marta 2012. godine doneo odluku da Srbiji dodeli status
kandidata za članstvo u Evropskoj uniji kao i činjenicu da je proces pregovora sa
Srbijom o pristupanju Evropskoj uniji zvanično otpočeo tek januara 2014. godine i
da je isti još uvek praktično u početnoj fazi. U radu su predstavljene osnovna ideja
i temelji ovog procesa unapređenja saradnje i usklađivanja propisa i standarda u oblasti unutrašnjih poslova Republike Srbije sa propisima i standardima Evropske
unije u ovoj oblasti.</dc:description>
  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract: The process of Serbia’s EU accession is a long process that includes
radical reforms in several key areas. One of the areas in which cooperation and
harmonization of regulations and standards with the regulations and standards
of the European Union is very important for the process of Serbia’s accession to
the European Union, is area of internal affairs. Therefore, one of the main future tasks of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, as a key ministry
in this area, is that its functioning and work into line with the European Union,
due to the fact that the European Council only in March 2012 decided to grant
Serbia candidate status for membership in the European Union and the fact that
the process of negotiations with Serbia on joining the European Union officially
launched only on January 2014 and it is still practically the same in the initial phase.
This paper presents the basic idea and the foundations of the process of improving
cooperation and harmonization of regulations and standards in the field of internal
affairs of the Republic of Serbia with the regulations and standards of the European
Union in this field.</dc:description>
