  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">In the first chapter, in addition to everything else, it was pointed to the
need of discovering possibilities for realization of the units of PPS sample, from
the view point of efficiency of its optimal size, by using a much larger horizontal
fixed angle, in order to avoid the work with large border distances between trees,
with the objective to eliminate difficulties and eventual rough errors due to the
screening of some trees.
In the second chapter description of PPS sample is given, which elementary
area represents a combination of point sampling and line sampling. A shortened
expression of such a sampling is, according to the author, PPS/p+1.
In the third chapter the basic difference is shown between point sampling
and line sampling. Thanks to this difference ,it is possible, by combining them,
to attain maximal adaptation of the sample to stand conditions and estimation
objectives.
In the fourth chapter it is suggested that the collection of PPS/p+1 sample
should be done by application of basal area factor 4, eventually 2, depending on
stand density and stem diameter. The size of sample unit is mostly regulated
by line length.
In the fifth chapter, as an example, the numerical processing of PPS/p+ 1
sample in one stand is shown.</dc:description>
