    <ns1:language>sr</ns1:language>
    <ns1:description language="en">Studies were made on population of epiphytal microflora of the seed of Pinus nigra Arn. and its importance for keeping up the quality and sound condition of
the seed. The studies were performed during the period of two years. They included
qualitative and quantitative examination of composition of the microflora, the relation
between the dominant microflora and Fusarium oxysporum var. orthoceras f.
pini, as well as interrelation of the dominant microflora. The acquired results showed
that:
- with proper handing and storing of seed (lower temperature and humidity)
population of microflora on the seed of Pinus nigra Arn. was lown and fungoid
microorganisms were present more than bacterioid microorganisms;
- as epithytal microflora the most common were the fungi from the phylum
of Penicillium, then Aspergillus, Alternaria and Pulluaria, which, under bad conditions
of storing (higher temperature and humidity), might cause mildew and
decay of seed;
- most of the dominant microflora of the examined seed of Pinus nigro.
A r n. affected Fusarium oxysporum v a r. orthoceras f. pini. Fungi from the phylum
of Penicillium were at the first place, then Aspergillus, and fungi from the phylum
of Trichoderma were at the third place;
- the results showed that the importance of the microorganisms affecting
Pinus nigra Arn. was great because, at an extensive population of these, Fusaricm
species were not present in the epiphytal microflora;
- interrelation of the dominant microflora of the spermatoplan of the examined
seed was neutral, what preconditioned a high population of antagonistic
microorganisms.</ns1:description>
