  <dc:title xml:lang="eng">TRANSLOCATION OF BIOCYNTHETIC FUNGICIDES WHICH ARE USED FOR THE PROTECTION OF PINUS NIGRA ARN. SEED AND SEEDLINGS</dc:title>

  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">The object of investigation was to establich the efficiency retention and translocation
of biosynthetic antibiotics of importance to the protection of Pinus nigra seed and seedlings.
The following metabolites of antagonistic actinomycetes were used: A. nitrosporeus
st. 4, A. longissimus st. 22, A. fasciculus st. 35, and Streptomyces cyanoalbus
st. 113, as well as Penicillium rugulosum st. 11.
- Pinus nigra seed absorbs and accumulates very well, and retains up to 3
months, the antibiotic substances which contain investigated metabolites, providing
thus efficient protection equally in storage as in soil during embryonal and herbaceous
stage of seed development;
- Active matter of investigated metabolites is traslocated and remains in the
root system, stem and partly in the needles, which provldes efficient protection
againt desease.</dc:description>
