o:7191 PROUČAVANJE UTICAJA KULTURA PINUS STROBUS I PSEUDOTSUGA DOUGLASII NA PROMENE U ZEMLJIŠTU NASTALE PRIMENOM PROREDA KAO MERA NEGE INFLUENCE OF THINING ON SOIL CHANGES IN FOREST PLANTATIONS OF EASTERN WHITE PINE AND DOUGLAS FIR sr In the forest plantations of eastern white pine and Douglas fir, established instead of a degraded oak forest on the site of Quercetum-farnetto cerris, it was studied the influence of different intensities of thining on physical, chemical and microbiological qualities in humus horizon. The following results were obtained: In the plantation of eastern white pine a tendency of accumulation of litter was noticed, as well as a decrease of humus. The content of fulvo-acids in the humus was increasing, showing the tendency of its acidifying. As a consequence of thining there was a increase of fungi microflora in the total microflora. In the plantations of Douglas fir the same tendencies were noticed, but less expressed. The increase of fulvo-acids was not so high and the pH lowered insignificantly, showing a smaller tendency of acidifying.
