o:7177 VEGETACIJSKA KARAKTERISTIKA PREDELA OKO INDUSTRIJSKIH OBJEKATA REIK - ,,KOLUBARA" KAO PRIRODNA OSNOVA ZA UTVRĐIVANJE STANDARDA OZELENJAVANJA CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VEGETATION IN THE ZONE OF INDUSTRIAL OBJECTS OF REIK ,,KOLUBARA" AS A NATURAL BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING STANDARDS OF HORTICULTURE sr Division of autochtonous vegetation in the zone of industrial objects of REIK ,,Kolubara" into a larger number of plant communities (Salicetum albae I s a l.. Genisto-Ouercetum roboris H o r v., Quercetum roboris Raus, Quercetum farnetto-cerris Rud., Trifolieto-Alopecuretum pratensis C i n c . etc) gives a better inspection into diversity of life conditions of this complex and a better natural basis for establishing standards of horticulture. The climax forest of this region is the plant community of Hungarian and turkey oak (Quercetum farnetto-cerris Rud.), which compared with the same forest in Šumadija, contains some mesophile elements, as the consequence of a little more humid climate of this region. All REIK ,,Kolubara" objects in the investigated region are built on the site of common oak and common hornbeam (Carpino betuli - Quercetum roboris Raus, 1969). The average level of underground walters on this site is 2-3 m. On this site it should be possible by selection of plants for horticultural standards to envisage the substitution of some ecological factors. The forest of common oak and hornbeam contains in its structure the elements which may be taken in account bv establishing the standards of horticulture.
