Праћење стања шума Ниво-а I овог програма у 2023. години односи се првенствено на осматрање и процену дефолијације круна дрвећа на одређеним парцелама – биоиндикацијским тачкама (БИТ), на територији Републике Србије, поред осталих осматрања према Мануалу ICP за шуме. Систем праћења стања шума је интегрисан у државно шумарско окружење, тако да у програму учествује неколико институција са својим сарадницима под координацијом Управе за шуме и националног фокал центра (НФЦ) Србије за праћење стања шума у Институту за шумарство. Пример овакве структуре је CLRTAP1 програм (Конвенција о прекограничном преносу ваздушних загађења) који је установљен пре 44 година са циљем да се смањи ваздушно загађење Европе. Програм ICP за шуме2 се одвија у оквиру UNECE3 истовремено на око 6000 БИТ Ниво-а I (податак из 2023. године) и око 800 парцела Ниво-а II (податак из 2023. године), где се прати виталност и здравствено стање шума Европе. Тренутно 42 земље у Европи и шире учествују у програму ICP за шуме. Сваке године НФЦ Србије обрађује податке прикупљене на терену током вегетационог периода, сачињава извештај и доставља га Министарству пољопривреде, шумарства и водопривреде – Управи за шуме. Извештај о стању шума на БИТ Србије на енглеском језику се доставља, такође сваке године, Главном координационом центру4 програма ICP за шуме који се налази у Eberswalde, Немачка. The International Cooperative Programme on Assessment and Monitoring of Air Pollution Effects on Forests (ICP Forests) has been continuously performed in the Republic of Serbia since 2003. In 2023, the Level I monitoring of this programme primarily focused on observing and assessing crown defoliation of trees at selected sample plots (SP) established on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, along with other observations according to the ICP Forests Manual. The system of forest condition monitoring is integrated into the state forestry system, involving several institutions with their collaborators under the coordination of the Forest Directorate and the National Focal Centre (NFC) of Serbia for forest monitoring at the Institute of Forestry. An example of such structure is the CLRTAP5 programme (Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution) established 44 years ago to reduce air pollution in Europe. ICP Forests Programme6 operates within the framework of UNECE7 simultaneously covering around 6000 Level I plots (data from 2023) and 800 Level II plots (data from 2023) monitoring the vitality and health condition of European forests. Currently, 42 countries in Europe and beyond are participating in the ICP programme for forests. Every year the NFC of Serbia processes data collected in the field during the growing season, compiles a report and submits it to the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Management – Forest Directorate. The report on the forest condition on the sample plots in Serbia in the English language is also submitted annually to the Programme Coordinating Center of ICP Forests (PCC8) in Eberswalde, Germany. srp eng
