srp 1985 Vučković, Branimir application/pdf 2552371 bytes info:eu-repo/semantics/article Institut za šumarstvo ZAPAŽANJA U VEGETACIJI KOŠUTNJAKA REMARKS ON VEGETATION OF KOŠUTNJAK The northest part of Šumadija, which represents a transition region between forest (Quercion fametto H o r v. 54) and forest steppe region (Aceri tatarici- Quercion Z61. et Jack. 57), was in the past much more covered with mixed associations of broadleaved forests: Quercetum virgilianae prov., Polyquerceto- Tilietum tomentosae prov., Orno-Quercetum cerris prov. and Carpino-Quercetum roboris tilietosum tomentosae Rau5 69. Relatively preserved stands of these forests or their remaining parts can be found in the existing forest cover of Topčidersko Brdo and Košutnjak, on the sea level which hardly exceeds 200 m.
