  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">The forest complex ,,Jelova Gora&quot; with suitable ecological factors and existing
vegetation (forest associations: Fagetum montanum, Fagetum montanum
ilicetosum, Blechno -Fagetum, Quercetum montanum, mixed forests of beech and
oak, spruce plantations etc.) contains a large number of edible mushrooms.
The largest number of species is registered in pure oak forests, but also
in pure beech forests.
In oak forests the prevailing species belong to the Genera Amanita and
Boletus and dn beech forests to the Genera Laccaria, Lepista, Macrolepiota and
Pleurotus. They also appear in the mixed forests of beech and oak.
The most famous. because of their taste and quality, are the following
edible macromicetas: Amanita caesarea, Boletus edulis, Boletus pinicola, Lactarius
deliciosus, Macrolepiota procera and Pleurotus ostreatus.</dc:description>
