o:6734 PROMENE U ZEMLJIŠTU POD UTICAJEM KULTURA ČETINARA, PODIGNUTIH NA STANIŠTU BUKVE NA PLANINI JASTREBCU STUDY OF THE INFLUENCE OF CONIFEROUS PLANTATIONS GROWN ON A BEECH SITE OF THE MOUNTAIN OF JASTREBAC, ON SOIL CHANGES sr The investigations were made in the plantations of the following coniferous species: Pinus nigra, P. silvestris, P. strobus, Picea excelsa and Larix europaea. They were 19-20 year old, planted on acid brown soil, on beech site (Fagetum montanum). The results of soil analyses show that the litter of pine needles becomes very slowly desintegrated and that the presence of beech in pine plantations accelerates this process. Pure coniferous plantations have a negative influence on population size of soil microflora and its quality. The smallest number of microorganisms of all physiological groups was fixed in humus horizon in the black pine plantations, but also in black pine plantations with mixed beech. Pure plantations of spruce, black and Scotch pine have influenced the change of pH-value, with the tendency of slight acidification. With the exception of black pine plantation with beech, in all other coniferous plantations the content of humus was smaller than the humus content of beech forest. The analysis of humus has shown in all samples domination of fulvo- over humine-acids. Under the influence of coniferous plantations the content of easy-accessibie potassium was found to be under lower limit of medium supplied soil with this element.
