<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Artificial afforestation by introduced species includes a risk that the
seedlings will not be adequately adjusted to the environment in which they are planted. So
as to reduce the risk, the geographic and ecological seed transfer distances are limited. In
this aim, the dependence of the percentage of survived two-year Douglas firs of various
provenances on geographic features was analyzed.</dc:description>
