U daljem tekstu, po metodu parcijalne korelacije prvog reda, analizirane su korelacione veze između mesečnih vrednosti temperature vazduha i padavina i visinskog prirasta istraživanih vrsta. A survey of the development of Douglas fir., Caucasian fir, Eastern white pine, spruce, and black pine cultures is given in the introduction, along with the influence of annual and periodical climatic variations to their height growth.
