The material used is stored in the Military Archive, in the fund of the Army of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and the archive of the city of Niš, in the fund of the City Administration. Чланак, на основу архивске грађе, даје историјат израде Генералног регулационог плана Ниша и спора са гарнизоном око измештања јединица и изградње војних објеката у граду.
