Based on the selected corpus, which consists of the novelTWENTYSERBIAN DIVISIONSandinterviewswiththeauthor,usingthematic,chrono- logical, and stylistic criteria, the aim is to emphasize the importance of intertwining journalistic and literary-artistic functional styles in the works of Dušan Kovačević. The question of interstyles, in line with the genre question, constitutes another focus and goal of the research.
