<dc:description xml:lang="eng">In order to define gas, panicle partitioning of semivolatile organic compounds, seven EPA polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) and sixteen EPA po/ycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) were chosen, and twenty air samples have been collected at six urban, industrial and highly contaminated locations in Vojvodina. Gas/particle partitioning values of PCBs and PAHs gas molecules, that were gained experimentally, have been compared with polyparameter-linear free energy’ relationship (PP-LFER) model estimated values. Significant deviation has been noticed during comparative analysis of estimated polyparameter model values for complete set of seven PCBs congeners. Higher agreement of experimental and estimated values was for polycyc/ic aromatic hydrocarbons, especially for molecules with four rings. These results are in good correlation with literature data where polyparameter model has been used for predicting gas/particle partitioning of studied group of organic molecules.</dc:description>
