<dc:title xml:lang="srp">UGROŽENE RETKE VRSTE I TAKSONI ŠUMSKOG DRVEĆA NA PODRUČJU JUGOZAPADNE SRBIJE</dc:title>
<dc:description xml:lang="srp">Veći deo Evrope je u periodu glacijacije pretrpeo redukciju znatnog broja
šumskih vrsta drveća. Smanjujući svoj areal u opštem procesu selekcije, adaptacije i
borbe za opstanak, došlo je do osiromašenja, segregacije i diferencijacije vegetacije,
kako u horizontalnom, tako i u vertikalnom pravcu. U tom kontekstu jugozapadna
Srbija je imala drugačiju sudbinu. U njenim dobro zaštićenim refugijalnim prostorima
veliki broj tercijernih vrsta je preživeo i zadržao svoje prediluvijalne, kasno
pliocenske karakteristike. U dendroflorističkom smislu područje jugozapadne Srbije
nije dovoljno istraženo. Specifičnosti reljefa ovog područja su klisure i kanjoni,
relativno visoke planine i doline u kojima se nalaze raznovrsni šumski kompleksi. U
Nestanak preti i
Mišićevoj smrči (Picea abies var. misicii Matović et Pavlović). Ugrožene su od
nestajanja i populacije piramidalne jele (Abies albavar pyramidalis Carr. Panticeve
omorike (Picea omorika var. vukomanii Pavlovic et Matovic), kao i većeg broja
retkih i endemoreliktnih vrsta drveća jugozapadne Srbije.</dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="eng">The number of forest tree species was significantly reduced during the
glaciation throughout the greater part of Europe. The reduction of the range in the
general process of selection, adaptation and the struggle for survival caused the
depletion, segregation and differentiation of vegetation, both in horizontal and in
vertical directions. In this context, south-west Serbia had a different fortune. In its
well-protected refugium spaces, a great number of Tertiary species survived and
retained the pre-illuvial, late Pliocene characteristics. The dendrofl.ora of south-west Serbia has not been sufficiently researched. The specificities of its relief are the gorges and canyons, relatively high mountains and the valleys with diverse forest complexes. In the refugium sites, there are many Tertiary and relic tree species. Due to the external causal factors, primarily the climate and bedrock, numerous tree species are now an integral part of the recent flora of south-west Serbia. During the last decades, there was a tendency of degradation and complete destruction of some sites.
which conditioned the reduction and complete extinction of some rare tree species.
For example, one of the two sites of golden pine (Pinus sylvestris var. zlatiborica
Oman.) which was an exceptional natural rarity (Tošić, 2000). Mišić's spruce (Picea
abies var. misicii Matović et Pavlović) is also threatened by extinction. Endangered
by extinction are also the populations of pyramidal fir (Abies alba var pyramidalis
Carr., Serbian spruce (Picea omorika var. vukomanii Pavlovic et Matovic), as well
as a great number of rare and endemorelic tree species of South-west Serbia.</dc:description>
