<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract: In recent years, a special attention has been paid to the development of renewable energy sources. Taking into account this development trend as a part of the rapid industry development, it is proposed to contribute to the operation of devices for measuring the frequency of three-phase wind turbines in order to reduce the impact of interference on frequency measurement. It presents a detailed solution of a device for measuring the frequency of a three-phase AC generator in the range of 1-100 Hz. The device uses an intermediate phase AC voltage which at its output gives a DC voltage in the range 0-5V DC that is proportional to the frequency 1-100 Hz and is galvanically isolated from the input signal. The output signal thus obtained is suitable for further processing in distributed control systems. Interferences occurring in the generator itself or surrounding devices can be superimposed on the generator output voltage and thus can significantly reduce the measurement accuracy. Therefore, the paper proposes an additional low-frequency signal filtering, which would significantly reduce the possible error of measuring period of the input signal.</dc:description>
