<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Summary: The paper will consider the right to family life, which is recognized as the right to respect the intimacy of family life. Interpersonal relationships develop in the family, which are intertwined with various intellectual, emotional and life connections, which makes family life a complex category. This is confirmed by the fact that in modern legal regulations, definitions of the family are rare precisely because of the difficulties in determining the concept whose content changes in accordance with social changes, which are influenced by numerous social factors. When it comes to the protection of the
right to family life, the Court practice of the European Court of Human Rights has a relevant impact, which, taking into account social and legislative changes in the signatory countries of the European Convention, has expanded the concept of family life beyond formal relations, In the context of our work, we will pay special attention to the mentioned court practice. Due to changes in the wider social plan, family relations are developing very dynamically, and the right to family life, as a protected
category, is developing in parallel with changes in society and we can say that it has a progressive and evolutionary character.</dc:description>
