    <ns1:description language="en">Abstract: The use of waste biomass raw materials as a renewable energy source has been a practical and reliable way of obtaining energy in most EU countries in recent years. Numerous scientific and practical researches are focused precisely on the possibility of using different sources of waste biomass raw materials both for energy purposes and for other possible needs. The gas obtained by
gasification of the appropriate input biomass raw materials is used in a cogeneration plant for the production of heat and/or electricity. A well-planned supply chain of available appropriate biomass raw materials, with appropriate preparation technologies can significantly influence the rational use of available resources. In this paper, a conceptual solution for a biogas plant for the production of biogas at the site of the wastewater treatment plant in Čačak is presented.
