<dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract: Analysis of the environmental samples by atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma (ICPOES) has been widely used due to its multielement capability, high dynamic linear range and sensitivity. This paper gives the procedure for the chemical analysis of field samples. The procedure describes in details the chosen wavelength of analyzed pollutants, operating conditions and steps in the analysis of the following pollutants: As, Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Hg, Mn, Mo, Ni, Pb, Zn, Se and S from surface water, wells, soil and sediment samples by atomic emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma.</dc:description>
