Thus, wood decaying fungi are most often seen as parasitic and saprophytic organisms, economically harmful, overlooking their useful functions. One of their useful functions is a possibility of their use in the treatment of various diseases. The results of the research of antiviral properties of lignicolous fungi are presented in this paper. Samples for isolation and identification of fungi are collected on several sites in Serbia.
