  <dc:description xml:lang="eng">Abstract: Composites based on clinoptilolite and monoterpene phenols - thymol and carvacrol were
prepared by supercritical solvent impregnation (SSI) at 30 MPa and 35 ºC during 18 h in
supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2). The composites were characterized in detail and their
antibacterial activity was tested towards two potentially pathogenic bacteria; Escherichia coli
and Staphylococcus aureus.</dc:description>
