o:2320 Historical flows of serbian literature created in Kosovo and Metohija in the XX century en Abstract: This paper provides an overview of the development of Serbian literature created in the area of the southern Serbian province – Kosovo and Metohija, during the XX and at the beginning of the XXI century. It is explicitly emphasized that literature created in the Serbian language, primarily for ideological and political reasons, was marginalized and forcibly separated from the mainstream of Serbian literature, created in the central part of Serbia, although it did not lag behind at all in terms of emphasized aesthetic and literary values.
