Федерализм является одной из основных характеристик Российской Федерации. Принятие законов на федеральном уровне, их действие и юридическая сфера представляют собой одну из особых сфер интересов, а также, помимо федерального, особое значение имеет законодательство субъектов Российской Федерации. Центральным вопросом является вопрос законности и легитимности, вытекающий из самого характера принимаемых законов, а также их реализации на территории всей Федерации. В статье соавторы рассмотрят понятие федерального законодательства в Российской Федерации, а также законодательства федеральных образований. Особую необходимость представляют демаркационные линии между федеральным и региональным законодательством и проблема установления единого правопорядка в Российской Федерации.
