o:1810 Sinai - liturgical determinants in Sinai architecture en Abstract: The purpose of the paper is to capture the influence of worship practices in the architectural conception of monastic settlements, founded by the saint Hesychasts in Moravian Serbia as a spiritual rebirth on the state, political, ecclesiastical and cultural plane (architecture, art and literature) of Lazar’s state. Summary: Sinai Mount Athos monks brought to the territory of Moravian Serbia the Mount Athos structure of monastic life, transferring its conceptions of monastery structure and liturgical reforms to church architecture as well: a type of church with a triconch base and lateral premises with a liturgical purpose in certain parts of it, which will indirectly influence the formation of the building style in Pomoravlje.
