Рашка : часопис за књижевност, уметност, науку и културу 51(44) Апстракт: У овом раду посветићемо се упоредном проучавању романа Лелејска гора Михаила Лалића и истоимене екранизације, коју је режирао Здравко Велимировић. Размотрићемо чињеницу да су књижевни предложак и његов филмски пандан „изникли” из сродне књижавне и културне традиције, али и указати на разлоге због којих су се упркос том заједничком именитељу, поетички и идеолошки вектори двојице стваралаца разишли у погледу разрешења судбине главног јунака романа и филма, Лада Тајовића. Кључне тачке за тумачење Велимировићеве Лелејске горе ће нам, притом, представљати уводни и завршни сегмент овог филмског дела. Summary: The subject of this paper is a reading of the instances of resolution in Mihailo Lalić's novel Lelejski gora and the film Lelejska gora, based on the aforementioned novel and directed by Zdravko Velimirović. In light of the changes that Lalić introduced in his rewriting of Lelejska gora in 1962. and the discrepancies between the novel’s ominous subject matter and its optimistic denouement, our attention was drawn to the final scenes of Velimirović’s film. This ending departs considerably from the original narrative material in leaving the main character ostracized from this partisan group. Therefore, the aim of this paper was to examine possible reasons for such alterations in the film. Despite the strong shared background in epic literary tradition and patriarchal cultural heritage of Montenegro, epitomized by the oeuvre of Petar II Petrović Nјegoš, the points of disagreement for Lalić and Velimirović became the questions of man's inherent malevolency and the importance of preserving heroic virtues at the cost of overarching revolutionary goals.
