Rezultati
analize opovrgli su početnu pretpostavku.</dc:description>
<dc:description xml:lang="srp">The subject of the research is the relationship of the media towards violence in
sports, with the specificity of the foreign element in relation to both the perpetrators
and the victim. By following the writings of the Serbian media about violence in
sports and a specific life event when a criminal offense was committed with a fatal
outcome by a fan group from one country in another country, different reports were
registered in the eyes of the neighbors. The initial assumption of the research is that
domestic media reports on the criminal offense of violence in sports in a sensationalist
manner. The aim of the work is to analyze the texts in the printed editions of daily
newspapers in order to establish whether, when reporting on violence in sports in the
immediate neighborhood, they respected ethical norms, the right to privacy and the
fact that it is a life event related to violence and sports, and not a political one. the
event. The results of the analysis showed that journalistic reporting was to the greatest
extent in line with professional standards and ethical norms, which is not exactly the
case when writing about violence in sports in our country. The results of the analysis
refuted the initial assumption.</dc:description>
